Why your school community’s views matter

Your experience can help us understand what the options could mean for children, families and the wider community. The consultation seeks views on further efficiencies, generating income, changing how services are delivered, reducing or stopping some services, introducing or increasing charges, council tax increases, delaying spending, one-off use of reserves and additional Government support.

No decisions have been made. Responses will help inform proposals ahead of budget-setting in February 2027. You can contribute through your professional experience and as a resident, parent, carer or service user.
