Extra curricular activities include sports, languages, music lessons etc and usually complement an academic curriculum. Details of our extra curricular clubs offered by the school staff and outside organisations are posted on this page. Please be aware that these clubs are not to be used for childcare. If we have any staff sickness or last minute cancellation of clubs, there may be no alternative club/activity for your child to attend.

The club will take place after school every Wednesday, starting from Wednesday 8th November for 6 weeks.

French & Spanish Club - LinguaTastic

Spanish Club is run during a Thursday lunchtime and French club will be held on a Thursday after school until 3.35pm. Should you wish to register your child, please e-mail info@linguatastic.com with their full name, class and campus. Places will be offered on a first-come, first-served basis.

Girls' Football

Miss Gill and Miss Scarr run an energetic and exciting girls' football club every Friday afternoon, specially designed for pupils in Years 4, 5, and 6. This inclusive club provides an excellent opportunity for young girls to learn new skills, stay active, and build team spirit through the beautiful game of football. Each session is packed with fun drills, exercises, and friendly matches that not only develop football skills but also promote confidence and camaraderie among the participants. Both Miss Gill and Miss Scarr are dedicated to nurturing a supportive and encouraging environment where every girl feels welcomed and empowered to shine on the field.

Mindfulness Colouring Club

Mrs Arnold will be hosting a Mindfulness Colouring Club every Monday and Tuesday from 3.15pm until 4.00pm.

Mindfulness colouring can be used as a form of art therapy, which can improve focus and attention on your surroundings or your emotions at that time. This form of mindfulness can help children to calm their bodies and minds. It can support in creating a relaxed, positive environment which can in turn benefit behaviour, communication and emotional regulation. This form of colouring supports fine motor skills as well as allowing your child's mind to get some rest after a long day at school.

Rocksteady Music School

Learn to play in a band. The children can choose from the electric guitar, keyboard, drums or vocals and lessons are during school on Wednesday and Thursday. For more information about Rocksteady visit:  https://www.rocksteadymusicschool.com/primary/

Tot Cross Buns

The children learn so much whilst cooking and having fun with Allison.  They learn new skills with each class; whether they are cutting ingredients with their safety knife or counting biscuits they have made.  The children learn about new foods and explore tastes and textures.
