Based on Office for National Statistic estimates, it is thought that 45% of EU nationals living in the County Council’s area were yet to register at the end of December 2019. Registration appears to be lower than estimated numbers in the majority of districts excluding Eastleigh, Hart and East Hants, Gosport and Winchester registrations are significantly below estimated numbers of EU citizens.
We have been asked to raise awareness of this scheme to the community who are EU nationals or partners of EU nationals.
