Job Introduction
We seek an enthusiastic, experienced individual to work as an LSA. This is a unique and exciting opportunity to work with an outstanding team in a supportive, challenging, and friendly environment. 
The successful candidate will support children in the classroom and run interventions with individuals/groups of children as directed by the class teacher. You should have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, be able to develop good relationships with children, and work as part of a team. You must provide accurate records and daily feedback to the teachers. 
This role provides an excellent opportunity for professional development, and we welcome interest from applicants who wish to develop their career in a school as an LSA.

Candidates must have: 
•    Excellent teamwork and communication skills, empathy with pupils and sympathy to their needs
•    A calm and positive approach, initiative, and independent skills 
•    Be cheerful, flexible, and enjoy working as part of a team 
•    Be first aid qualified or prepared to become first aid trained.
•    An understanding of the national curriculum to enable children to make progress
•    An understanding of confidentiality and safeguarding procedures
•    An understanding of barriers to learning and how to support children to be successful
•    Have high expectations of all children and themselves, including in terms of managing the behaviour of more complex children
•    The ability to work under pressure
•    Relevant experience in a teaching/learning/child support working environment is desirable
•    Applicants should also have a GCSE grade C or equivalent in both English and Mathematics
•    Applicants should be trained to at least NVQ2 standard.
