Hampshire County Council is looking at ways to help people in Hampshire reduce the amount of food that they waste. You may have noticed the shortages of some fresh foods reported in the news recently, as well as rising prices in shops. Reducing food waste is one way that everyone can help to deal with these problems.

This survey asks about your habits around food, such as how you shop and plan meals, and what you do with leftovers. By taking part, you can help the County Council to understand the best ways that we can support people to waste less food, helping them to save money and reduce their impact on the environment.

Disposing of food waste also places a burden on the County Council’s budget and reducing the amount of food that households throw away would help the County Council to use its budget on other priorities for people in Hampshire.

The survey should take about 10 minutes to complete and will close on Sunday 23 July 2023 at 11:59pm.
