Commissioners have been working to review NHS Therapy Services across Hampshire, currently delivered by Solent NHS Trust, which provides community based Speech and Language Therapy, Physiotherapy and Occupational Therapy to children and young people aged 0-19, registered with a Hampshire GP Practice under the following CCG areas:
· North East Hampshire and Farnham CCG
· North Hampshire CCG
· West Hampshire CCG
· South East Hampshire CCG
· Fareham and Gosport CCG
The service also provides assessment, evidence and treatment for children and young people applying for or, in receipt of a Hampshire County Council EHCP (Education, Health and Care Plan). The current contract term expires on 30th October 2022.
Commissioners have been working to review the current service and build a procurement package for competitive and public tender. To ensure the provision of an effective and fit for purpose service, communication, engagement and participation with parents/carers/families and children and young people is key to the success of this project.
