The continuing impact of the COVID-19 pandemic is unprecedented and our thoughts at this time are with all persons who continue to be affected by the virus. These are very challenging times and we are all having to adapt to the changes and make necessary adjustments to both our living and working environments as circumstances evolve and progress.

As you will know, some of our uniform is imported from abroad. As with the UK, many overseas companies have suffered closures too which has resulted in manufacturing delays and increased lead times for some but not all goods. We at Skoolkit are continually monitoring our supply chain for issues that may impact our operations, and are working closely with our suppliers to assess and minimise any potential effect. Where we have experienced shortages we have sourced available stock from different suppliers, however, there will be some uniform that we will be out of stock for some sizes and colours until our all our deliveries are received.

As far as possible our shops are fully stocked and our experienced staff are there to help customers size and fit their children correctly. Our on-line ordering department is experiencing unparalleled demand and orders are currently taking from 2-3 weeks to despatch which is much longer than usual for us. We will of course strive to complete as many orders as possible prior to September’s back-to-school and minimise any possible disruption to school uniform supply. We hope that you can bear with us if some of your students do not return in full uniform and rest assured that we are doing our best to rectify the situation as soon as possible.

I would like to thank you for your continued support, and hope that you, your colleagues and students enjoy your summer break and remain safe.

Kind Regards

Bob Davidson
