BBC Music Day, it is a UK wide, annual celebration of the power of music to change lives, with over a thousand events across the UK and broadcasts on TV, Radio and Digital.'  The theme this year is 'music and well-being; the power of music to inspire, bring us together and make a positive impact.'

At Rooksdown the children will take part in the following activities:

  • On Thursday - follow an online singing tutorial in class and then the whole school will perform it in the hall.
  • During Friday Fun - the children will make musical instruments out of recycling.
