We’ve been learning about the Maya civilisation and this has linked to our rainforest topic.
In order to bring the topic alive for the children, we are going to have a themed day! During the day the children will have an opportunity to play games, learn dances, try different foods and even make their own traditional snacks. We will be making items at school so if they do not have a costume, they could wear black with these and still feel part of it.
