Your school lunches are provided by award-winning caterers HC3S
With over 30 years’ experience of school catering, our successful ethos is to provide healthy, local, responsible sourced food that children love. Our tasty, freshly cooked, nutritious dishes help your children flourish and reach their potential. As part of a balanced diet, our lunches provide a third of a child’s daily calorie intake, to aid concentration levels and give them energy to focus and to play. In the current climate we want to assure our schools and their communities that we
have rigorous risk assessments in place to make sure our teams and the schools they serve have safe working practices. We follow Government and the Food Standard Agency and Public health advice to the letter.
We know that providing award winning meals is not enough and so at HC3S we go that further, by helping schools and the wider community to encourage children, parents, carers to live healthy lifestyles and think sustainably. Our added value ‘Food to Flourish Classroom’ resources help teachers educate children in an innovative, food related fashion that cuts across the curriculum. We always doing our best to think sustainably ourselves, you can find out exactly what we are doing as business here. https://www.hants.gov.uk/educationandlearning/hc3s/sustainability
Celebrate with us throughout the academic year as we support Nutrition and Hydration Week, British Food Fortnight, and National School Meals Week; key events in the food and drink calendar which are lots of fun.
Special Diet Application
It is the responsibility of parents to provide accurate information relating to any allergies/special diets that their child may have/require and that this is backed up with medical evidence. Children who do have medical needs will usually be under the care of a clinician and parents should, therefore, be able to provide information confirming this.
Medical reasons will always be required confirming the child’s allergy/intolerance and must specify what food item/group is to be removed from the menu.
Applications for medical special dietary needs should be made using form Medically Identified Special Diet Application (HC300) available to download from https://www.hants.gov.uk/
Please download the document below to help with this process.

Once the application has been completed and signed by a GP/Dietician, parents are required to take the form into the school admin office to scan over to HC3S office. Separate medical evidence should not be sent in as this will not meet with our Data Protection policy.
